This seems to be such a difficult task for
many. I suppose people think a RSVP on an invitation is just there for
decoration. Or don’t they know what it stands for?
Is having etiquette too much to ask for? It’s
just good manners to inform the person who invited you if you can attend or
not. This is important especially for catering purposes. But many people RSVP,
then they still don’t attend, or they don’t call and pitch at the event.
I think as a bride to be the whole waiting for
your guests to RSVP is very stressful. How can you make a booking and let your
caterers know if you still waiting on a RSVP two weeks before your big day?
People should realise that with weddings,
parties and events it’s extremely difficult to compile your guest list. So they
should feel honoured when they receive an invitation.
So RSVP and reserve you seat and attendance!
