We achieve so many things in life and at times it's difficult
to keep track thereof as some achievements are more important than others. Unfortunately I
won’t list 200 but I’ve managed to list the first ones that came to mind……
- Learning how to swim
- Learning how to ride a bicycle
- Being confirmed in church
- Doing IsiXhosa as a 3rd language and learning how to speak and write the language
- Belonging to the Hiking Club and climbing Table Mountain
- Matriculating
- Being accepted at Cape Technikon
- Obtaining my 1st National Diploma
- Doing my in-service training at a media company and getting a permanent position thereafter
- Moving into a flat
- Learning how to cook
- Passing my learners
- Passing my driver’s license
- Buying my own car
- Enrolling for ND: Public Relations part time and passing my first year with 4 distinctions
- Graduating with my PR Diploma
- Being accepted for BTech: Public Relations
- Making it to final year BTech PR
- Making four career moves within my company
- Learning to accept people for who they are
- Learning responsibility for my actions
- Announcing my engagement and planning my wedding
- Buying a house
- Learning that God is in control
You need to know what you want from life and you have to set
formal goals in order to achieve success.
