My favourite soapie
is Generations. I really enjoy the interesting storyline and they send out a
message with their stories. The issues that the characters are faced with are
topics we can relate to. Homosexual couples, drug abuse, abortions, shebeens,
fraud and adultery.
A positive message is
sent out with the issues people deal with, while they give advice and introduce
different cultures and religions and how you must respect that. I am sure many
people that watch the program can relate to certain incidents in the storyline
because the stories told are very close to home.
It’s nice to know
that it’s not just a boring soapie and they give you contact details of help
lines you can call if you dealing with the same issues. But most importantly it’s
educating people on various topics and issues.
Awesome soapie….
